Hangover Compliment. (Chopper x Reader)

You groaned and put your hand up to your temple as you heard another loud thump from up on deck. How they could possible still work this early in the morning after all the rum that was drunk last night, you had no clue. You guessed it was just because you've never really drank much in your life - besides a little bit of wine - before you joined the Straw Hat Crew. But they, apparently, were used to it.

Being a pirate had it's perks when it came to drinking, you, just haven't been one long enough for those perks to kick in yet. At least that's what you always told yourself, even though you've been apart of the crew for over a year and you've really come to like it. It was much better then that shut in live you had lives before this.

But, you still wondered what even made you worthy - if that's how you wanna say it - to be apart of the crew. It started out because you were a good mesues, then it gradually came down to you also being the baby-sitter for Luffy and Chopper when Usopp or Nami weren't around for it them selves, which seemed to happen a lot now that you were here. But even then, Usopp isn't the best at handling Luffy at all.

BANG!

"You idiot! Watch what you're doing, squiggly!"

"I wouldn't need to if you didn't get in my way, moss head!"

You let out a loud groan, reaching behind you to grab the pillow from under you head and pulling it over your face. Only to let out another groan as your head hit the bed, hard. Robin and Nami said you could say down below to try and sleep the hang over off but, how in the world were you suppose to sleep it off with all that noise!

"BOTH OF YOU KNOCK IT OFF! (Y/n) is trying to sleep off her hang-over!"

"SORRY, (Y/n)-CHAWN!~ See you idiot, you yelled to loud and now you've probably woke her up! She won't be able to get her beauty rest!"

"Why do I care!? Light-weight shouldn't have drank so much anyway!"

You clutched the pillow tighter to your head, trying to block out the noise but it just didn't work. Small tears started to form in your eyes from the pain. As much as you didn't wanna admit it, you knew Zoro was right. You never should have drank that much and you wouldn't be in this position right now.

But you swore that if they didn't stop arguing right now, when you got better you were going to show them the meaning of 'Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn'. Unless Nami beats you to it.

You sniffled as you heard the door slowly open. You guessed they were trying to open it as quietly as they could but right now, even the quietest of noises were causing the pain to worsen.

The little foot-steps that sounded across the room belonged to whom you could only assume to be the Doctor of the crew, Chopper. When you first met Chopper you had instantly fallen in-love with his cuteness. The little walking, talking, top hat wearing reindeer had always made you squeal inside and try to restrain yourself from trying to sweep him up in a tight embrace. Even more so when he was scared, which happened to be a lot. You were a little shocked when you first found out he was the Doctor. If any one else had told you a little blue nosed reindeer was a medic you would have laughed in their face. But now, being a part of this crew for so long, you're ready to believe just about anything anyone told you. Nothing seemed impossible anymore.

You slowly moved the pillow off your face, not caring about the small stream of tears you had from the pain. Sure, you were a pirate but you were also a woman, you could only take so much. You smiled lightly as you met the little worried eyes of said Doctor, who was standing up on the bed beside you. If you head hadn't hurt so bad you would have squealed when he spoke in his little voice.

"How are you feeling, (Y/n)?" He put one of his little hoofs up against your fore head, moving it to your cheek to see if you had any fever.

You let out a small groan from the bit of pain that caused and hearing his voice, despite how small quiet he tried to make it. You also knew it was gonna hurt to talk. "I'd feel better, if everyone wouldn't make so much noise.." And if right on Que another loud noise came from up above followed by Luffys' loud laugh. "I never should have drank so much."

He sighed, shaking his head. "I told you!" You groaned and he winced. His voice lowered as he continued to 'scold' you. "I told you not to drink that much, but you just had to try and show off." You pouted like a child - despite your headache - but you knew it was true, you had a couple drinks and you told Zoro you could out drink him but that ass just laughed and didn't try to stop you.

"I don't need a scolding now, Chopper. I need medicine."

He grinned and nodded, pulling his hand out from behind his back. Lo and behold he had that little liquid heaven for you to drink and help your head ache. He held it out in front of him. "This should help your head pain and make you little drowsy. Then maybe you can sleep through the noise." Again, another bang and Nami yelling her head off, probably to Luffy.  Chopper deadpanned - and if you could have you would have too from the fact they kept making noise - as he pulled the cork off the bottle and helped you slowly lift your head up. He put the bottle to your lips and tilted the bottom of it up.

You wanted to gag at it's horrible taste but you wanted the pain gone too so you didn't. Once you swallowed the right amount he took the bottle away and put the cork back in. He nodded at you and started to walk away but you grabbed his hoof and pulled him back around.

You let go and despite the pain, you lifted your head up till your lips were level with his face and you pressed them again his nuzzle for a few seconds.

He fell back on his butt onto the floor with a squeal and pointed at you accusingly. His eyes widened and his mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. He started to say things in rushed, mushed together words. "I- You- Wh- (Y-Y/n!?"

You smiled and pulled the covers over up to your nose, the medicine starting to kick in. You yawned. "Thanks, Chopper, you're so cute.."

You rolled over, your back facing him, your eyes closed and he kept saying things for a few moments and the last thing you heard before you slipped off was, "You're compliment doesn't make me happy at all, asshole!~"
